Students should consult Student Success Advisors in the College of Adult & Professional Studies (CAPS) before they enroll in more than one college program simultaneously.

College of Adult & Professional Studies

Students who are currently enrolled in programs in the College of Adult & Professional Studies may take CAPS courses for elective credit. To take courses that are not electives in their degree program, CAPS students need permission from the appropriate program director.

College of Arts & Sciences

Students currently enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences at Bethel University may enroll in CAPS courses when individually approved by their CAS department chair or where specific pre-approved agreements exist between programs in both colleges.  CAS department chairs determine how CAPS courses will transfer to CAS and apply to CAS degree requirements.

Graduate School

Students currently enrolled in particular College of Adult & Professional Studies programs may apply to take graduate level courses to fulfill their undergraduate credit requirements. These courses are considered graduate credit. For more information, see the CAPS pathway to Graduate School programs page for specific requirements and details.

Other

Students who are enrolled at other regionally accredited institutions for credit may enroll in CAPS courses for elective credit with no permission required or non-elective courses with permission from the appropriate program director.
